Welcome, friends & Premier List partiers. This is my personal season ticket page for the New York J-E-T-S!
I bought 2 season tickets for both teams immediately when they went on sale, which is why they're SO close to the action. I am a Jets & a Rangers fan, and feel great about their chances this year!
Regarding the Rangers, Madison Square Garden is undergoing a massive, 100% renovation. You can read about it here. The short version: MSG will be closed for 4 months in the Summer of 2011, and by the start of the season the lower bowl will be completely redone.
NOTE from 10/12/10: Went to Jets/Vikings MNF! Here are pictures from my seats:
Some facts about my tickets:
1. I am not a ticket broker, just a fan that cannot possibly attend every game.
2. Right now I'm just listing every game for sale, for both Jets & Rangers, with a few exceptions.
As to which games I can NOT attend, I will say this. As much as I'd like to see the Chad OchoCinco (pictured to your right) & Terrell Owens show come to town, missing Thanksgiving with my family is not an option!
3. Yes, I realize the tickets are expensive. Getting to sit in the actual 8th row (Jets) or 2nd row (Rangers) from the field/ice is not cheap. These are tickets you'll want to use to schmooze a client, impress a date, or give someone as a "wow" gift!
I can indesputably say that you'll pay 5-10% less here for comparable tickets than you will on the Ticketmaster (Jets | Rangers) or the Season Ticket Exchange (Jets | Rangers) - I linked them both so you can see for yourself.
I did that because I'll save on the fees I pay to sell them - and consequently, you'll be able to avoid those ridiculous broker fees as well by dealing with me directly! So, we both save!
I can email you the tickets for $2.95 (either team) and you can pay with a credit card, debit card or paypal. Or, come by our office on 40th & 9th in NYC, pay cash, pay no fee, and pick up the fancy season tickets I get from the teams. Either way, just contact me at johnny@premierlistnyc.com or 212 785 3745.
Now - to Gang Green!
There is IMMENSE talent on this team - they finished 30 minutes away from the Super Bowl last year as any fan knows!
The 2009 team had THE #1 ranked defense in the NFL, Superstar QB-in-the-making Mark Sanchez (pictured) with targets Cotchery, Coles & Keller, a great running game, and my favorite Jets coach ever, Rex Ryan!
(I just ducked a bolt of lightening coming from that Parcells guy in Miami)
As of August 13, Las Vegas odds have the J-E-T-S as 5-1 to get to the Super Bowl, and 9-1 to win it.
During the offseason, I loved the draft - and there's been the additions of Jason Taylor, Santonio Holmes, superstar L.T. & Antonio Cromartie, who can fill in for Revis Island until his holdout ends (looks to be soon).
Enough with the preamble. My Jets tickets are in section 133, row 8, seats 1 & 2. Yes, I sucked it up and paid $6K for a PSL (Personal Seat License).
You will actually be 7 rows from the field. At the top of section 133 is the Captain Morgan lounge, which is a full service bar/restaurant and you will have access to with these seats.
Check it out on the seating chart - Section 133 has 33 rows, so the 8th row is where the green dot below is:
Click here to see how the field looks from my seats, thanks to Jets 3D - just type in Section 133, Row 8:
Now - here's the Jets home schedule, with the price PER ticket next to each game.
August 16 vs the NY Giants. $125, 8pm
Interestingly, the Jets are 3 point favorites, which is the spread that Vegas typically gives home teams - in other words, the thinking is these teams are evently matched. An early test, followed by.....
September 19 vs the New England Patriots. $300, 4:15pm....another HUGE early test!
Come watch the Jets & Rex Ryan match wits with Bill Bellichick & his hoodie. And for the ladies, there's that 'metrosexual' prick to your right who plays QB for the Pats.
Brady & Bellichick won 3 Super Bowls together - including the infamous Janet Jackson "Nipplegate" Super Bowl! They have been a huge pain in the ass for the last 10 years.
October 11 vs the Minnesota Vikings. 8:30pm - Monday Night Football again!
Brett Favre makes his return to the Meadowlands in a battle of last year's AFC vs NFC Conference Finalists!
The Vikings are goooood. If not for a Favre pick in the NFC title game, it would have been them - and not the Saints - in last year's Super Bowl. Adrian Peterson is the best running back in football, bar none!
October 31 vs the Green Bay Packers. $275, 1pm
Wow - their first FOUR regular season home games are against teams that made the playoffs last year. Kinda nuts!
The Packers are my favorite NFC team. I love their fans - if you love football, go to Kettle of Fish in Greenwich Village and watch a game with them. Aaron Rogers is the real deal - another tough test for our J-E-T-S.
November 21 vs the Houston Texans. $239, 1pm
Finally, a non-playoff team....but at 9-7, they were only 1 game away from making it. Funny schedule, the Jets play patsies (Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, etc) on the road but 5 straight games against winning teams at home.
The Texans are the ultimate Fantasty Football team. Matt Schaub! Steve Slaton! Andre Johnson! (casual fans are asking "who?")
November 26 vs the Cincinnati Bengals. $150, 8:20pm (Thanksgiving Night). Make that the first SIX home games against teams with a winning record. And....
the circus comes to town!
Diva WR's Chad "don't call me Johnson" OchoCinco and Terrell Owens compete over who has the best VH1 reality show!
Between the Jets & Cincy, this game has more star power than any other on the NFL schedule this year!
December 12 vs the Miami Dolphins. $250, 4:15pm
The day of my birthday, and I'm conflicted on whether or not to go. On one hand, it's December, which is the month of the year I work the most hours - between office/holiday parties and New Years Eve.
On the other hand, it IS the hated Dolphins, our division rival run by Bill Parcells & the ghost of Dan Marino. Tough call - if you meet my price, take the tickets and spare my liver!!!
January 2 vs the Buffalo Bills. $199, 1pm
On this one, the $190 price can change as it goes closer to game-time. If this game determines playoff qualification or seeding, the tickets will go up. If not, they'll go down.
Another division rival - the Bills always seem to torture the Jets - and it's the last game of the year!
Its also the game that you could buy as a post Christmas/Hanukkah holiday gift: 8th row Jets tickets are perfect for an impossible-to-shop-for sports fan.
Thanks for reading everyone, and GO JETS! You can contact me through email - johnny@premierlistnyc.com - or call my direct office line, 212 785 3745.
The first football game played at the New Meadowlands, Monday Night Football & the Jets co-tenants - all in 1 night!
August 27 vs the Washington Redskins. $110, 7pm
The 3rd pre-season game, which means the starters play the longest. Plenty of time to harass Donovan McNabb for puking from the pressure of the Super Bowl! Bet the Eagles "money line" and still bitter about it!
Sept. 13 vs the Baltimore Ravens. $300, 7pm - Monday Night Football!
What a way to open the regular season! In comes Ray Lewis, Joe Flacco & Rutgers' own Ray Rice! This ticket includes a tailgating pregame concert by Slash of Guns & Roses, Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls and Dancing with the Stars champ. Also there's a halftime concert by Green Day! Slash, Pussycat Dolls & Green Day - interesting combo, no?
